If the Gunners had offered an extra amount of money, then they would have put themselves in a stronger stance to seal an early deal.
The same situation could be repeated with Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk if Arsenal are not proactive with a deal. The winger had a phenomenal start to the season by scoring two goals and also assisting on one occasion in the opening two matches of the Champions League group stage, with his team only missing out on progression to the knockout stages on the final matchday after losing against RB Leipzig.
And, the Ukrainian international has sent another transfer reminder as to why the Gunners should sign him. While the Gunners are currently on a winter break due to the World Cup that is due to begin tomorrow, Mudryk scored an impressive goal for Shakhtar on Saturday afternoon.
