'My son had his first Toblerone and asked what the bear is for - my mind is blown'

Chocolate lovers around the world are saying their 'minds have been blown' after a little boy spotted something hidden on the Toblerone packaging.

One mum took to Twitter to share how her nine-year-old son spotted a secret bear in the mountains of the Toblerone logo when he was given his first bar - despite her not ever seeing it before.

People who often enjoy the triangular honey and almond nougat chocolate bar were left stunned as they too noticed the bear for the first time.

Twitter user Stephanie shared the funny interaction on the social platform, writing: "My son had his first Toblerone today. “What’s the bear for?”

"Me: “what bear?”

"I was today years old when I found out there’s a bear in the Toblerone logo."

The bear is visible in the shading of the two-tone mountain logo printed on the chocolate box, standing up on its hind legs.

The mum went on to explain: "Toblerone comes from Bern, Switzerland. Also known as the city of bears."

People on Twitter were shocked at the surprise discovery as one man reposted the tweet, writing: "Blew my mind."

Another commented: "I have never seen that!!! Your son is brilliant!"

A third suggested her son should become an artist with his observant eye, writing: "Oh wow, get him drawing, he sees negative space first. I shall think of this for days. Mainly because I haven't had a toblerone for years and now want one. but also - cool."

Others joked that they were always too hasty to tuck into the chocolate to look at the packaging, saying: "Omg a bear! Clearly my priorities have been elsewhere always."
