It goes without saying that a dog makes a house a home. While our beloved pooches add an infinite amount of love to any family, they require a lot of care and attention.
Arguably, the most gruesome part of owning a pet is cleaning up the mess behind them. The most sensible solution is to bag up the faeces and wait until you come across a dog waste bin - but this isn't always possible.
Taking to popular forum Reddit, a woman detailed how an angsty neighbour got petty revenge on a dog owner after they continued to put their dog's waste in her household garbage bin.
Alongside a photo of a road, the Reddit user explained: "My neighbour's solution after being inconvenienced by someone tossing dog poop bags in her garbage bin."
The quick snap showed how the dog owner placed a selection of five dog poo bags in the middle of a main road.
It comes after the pooch owner 'inconvenienced' their neighbour by placing the waste in her garbage bin.
Since posting, the woman's thread has raked in 270 comments to date alongside a selection of different opinions.
Taking to the comment section, one person claimed that they didn't see a problem with a dog's waste being placed in their bin. They wrote: "If you pick up your dog's poop and walk by my house feel free to use my bin. Thank you for picking it up."
Someone else agreed: "100% and honestly if people put their takeout wrappers or other small items in my trash I don’t mind. No sweat off my back. Better in there than on my lawn or sidewalk."
Meanwhile, a different user wrote: "Some asshole puts garbage in my green bin. Fast food garbage. If I ever catch them I’m gonna shove that person in the black bin. Use the damn black bin for garbage."
On the other hand, another person said: "I had someone put their poo bag in my completely empty bin during a freeze/thaw cycle. Bag disintegrated, contents froze/melted, and I discovered the bottom of my bin coated in a very disgusting slurry.
"Cleanout process was pretty gross, trying to spray out the shit water without splashback. So, please don't if there is nothing else in the bin."
