We all have our favourite brands when it comes to the food we eat, and for many of us, there are certain items we'll only accept if they come from the big labels we know and trust.
But as many of The Mirror's taste tests will tell you, there isn't actually that much difference between your favourite brands and the supermarket knock-offs - except in the price.
And one woman on TikTok, who is from the US, has been putting that theory to the test for almost a decade, as she confessed she's been swapping out her husband's beloved Hellmann's mayonnaise for the discount Aldi variety for the past eight years.

The woman's husband refuses to touch any mayo that isn't from Hellmann's, but he has no idea he's actually been eating the cheap stuff from Aldi for eight years, as his wife disguises the condiment in an empty Hellmann's jar.
In a video posted to her account - which she has changed to @mayoswindler since going viral for the clip - she said: "So my husband claims that he only eats Hellmann's mayonnaise and he will not settle for the off-brand stuff.
"But little does he know, he's been eating Aldi mayonnaise for the last eight years."
The video showed the woman using a spatula to scoop out the Aldi mayo into the Hellmann's jar, as she explained that she will occasionally buy a proper Hellmann's jar just in case her husband checks the expiry date and gets suspicious, but most of the time the family enjoy Aldi's version.
The woman's clip has been viewed over 2.7 million times, and some people have accused her of being "deceitful" for lying to her husband and cutting corners by buying cheaper mayonnaise.
In response to the unexpected backlash, the mum began calling herself the Mayo Swindler and posted another video in which she jokingly said she would be taking donations to afford the more expensive Hellmann's mayonnaise.
She said: "Good morning, it's the Mayo Swindler here! Apparently, I am a lying, deceitful, cheating wife because I buy off-brand mayonnaise.
"So I now have a Venmo, it's @MayonnaiseMoney, so all of you lovely TikTokers can send me a few bucks so that my man can get what he deserves. Because apparently that's not me, and it's not Aldi.
"Save my marriage, please. There are so many people out there who are so concerned about my finances, and apparently, I did my husband real dirty. So now is your chance to step up."
The woman also shared a video in which she played her original TikTok to her husband to break the news to him about the mayo mystery, who simply laughed it off.
