The chief suspect in the fatal attack on a fortune teller remains in garda custody on other offences tonight as gardai continue to build a case.
And as the major probe continues, relatives of Stefan Nivelles Posschier continued to grieve, with one saying: "My heart is empty."
The 65-year-old was found dead after he was stabbed at his home at Rattin, between Kinegad and Milltownpass, in Co Westmeath on Tuesday evening.

Today we revealed how there were efforts to conceal the body, which was found under tarpaulin at the rear of the house.
A man known to the victim was arrested in Co Carlow on the same evening on separate offences.
The suspect has a history of drug issues and has previously threatened to kill someone close to him.
Investigators will continue to gather evidence while he is in custody on separate issues, but they expect to arrest him over the fatal attack and formally question him in the coming days.
A source said: "Everything continues to be looked at but it remains the case that this individual is the chief suspect."
Originally from Belgium, Stefan had lived in the Westmeath area for over 20 years, working as a fortune teller and was well-known right across the county.
His sister, who lives abroad, took to social media to reveal her family's grief.
Kathryn said: "Goodbye brother, I'm so sorry and upset about your tragic death.
"I have loved you, love you and will love you.
"Please light a candle for my beloved brother.
"Such a tragic ending."
His niece Ilona said: "We love you uncle. My heart is empty."
A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed and continues to keep Stefan's relatives informed of the investigation.
Gardai confirmed that Stefan had died from a violent assault.
That was confirmed following a post-mortem by State Pathologist Dr Linda Mulligan at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
Gardai based in Mullingar are leading the massive probe.
And in an appeal they asked anyone that met, saw or interacted with Stefan on social media on the days prior to the discovery of his body to make contact with them.
A spokesman said: "Investigating Gardaí can be contacted at the incident room in Mullingar Garda Station on 044 9384000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or through any Garda Station.
"No arrests have been made at this time.
"A Garda Spokesperson is not available at this time."
