NEW DELHI: Newly-appointed BJP’s Punjab president Sunil Jakhar has said his first priority is to restore the people's faith in democracy and politics in the bordering state. He also said it was his goal to establish the BJP as only alternative in the state.
Jakhar was appointed as the president of the BJP’s Punjab unit on Tuesday. He met the party’s national president JP Nadda in the national capital on Wednesday, his first meeting after the appointment.
