A woman in a mixed-height relationship says people often mistake her fiancee for her child. Talking on Love Don't Judge podcast, Texie explained that she met Ana at work.
Their romance started when Ana was hired to work as a make-up artist for Texie, who has starred on the WE TV series in the US. After the pair became 'closer and closer' Ana admitted to Texie that she had a 'crush' on her.
Texie says she likes the fact that Ana sees her for her and not her height. Ana then proposed on New Year's Eve in front of a huge audience before Texie, who is 3ft tall, performed.
"Because I am so small, people look at me and say 'oh you're a child", Texie, 31 said. "Unfortunately, I do have to wear child clothes.
"I try my hardest to make them look adult. I get bullied on TikTok, I get my stuff taken down daily because I look like a child.
"Trolls will leave comments under her post saying 'It's sick that you act like that because they think she's a kid. People say to Ana 'why are you with Texie, don't you feel disgusted, have you ever thought about being with someone regular?"
"There have been times when it's very hard for both of us," Texie told the podcast. "She's even had drinks thrown at her, she's been threatened as well.
"You (Ana) never let me struggle in any shape or form, whether it be physically, emotionally or mentally. She has helped me with a lot of struggles I've had."
Texie has a condition that affects her bones, so rare that even people in the medical world don't know much about it. Texie is now the oldest living adult with the condition, which can also cause the bones to be brittle.
Ana said: "Her condition wasn't really discussed, I just treated her like she was a normal human being. The closer and closer we got, we did discuss it and I wanted to take the girlfriend route, OK how do I help with this condition."
Texie said: "I hope people of all shapes and sizes get my love and finally stop judging."
Followers told the pair to ignore the haters. One person said: "People actually judging Tiny Texie just for being an adult woman is the stupidest things I've ever heard."
Another said: "People act like those born with dwarfism don’t deserve a loving relationship but they do. There’s nothing wrong here."
A third penned: "Their personalities are so peaceful and likeable and theres such feeling of support network here. Wishing them all the best! They also look beautiful and so in love."
