Brazil legend Ronaldinho has praised Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne hailing him as his favourite player for Belgium.
Since arriving from Wolfsburg, De Bruyne has moved from strength to strength at the Etihad Stadium. In August, the Belgian playmaker was nominated for UEFA men's player of the year however he was pipped to the prize by Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
In this campaign, the 31-year-old has continued to pull the strings for Pep Guardiola's men. De Bruyne has already notched eight assists for the Blues with Erling Haaland reaping the rewards of the Belgian's vision.

This form has led to praise from Ronaldinho who, when asked about his thoughts on the Belgian international team, singled out special praise for De Bruyne. Speaking to Voetbal Niuews, the 42-year-old said: "There are three Red Devils playing at AC Milan, my ex-club.
"That proves there is a lot of quality in your selection. De Bruyne is my favourite Red Devil. I love his style.
"OK, he’s not a dribbler like Eden Hazard, but he has great technique. He is a great player.
"Eden Hazard is the Belgian who is most like me in the way he plays. I hope he gets back to his top level soon."
De Bruyne started for Belgium on Sunday night as they faced the Netherlands in the Nations League. City return to action next Sunday when they host Manchester United in the derby.
