The Redditor then teased readers by writing underneath: "And it's..." followed by a gap.
" Brodee Rynae.
"As if I couldn’t hate the names 'Brody' and 'Renee' enough. She's a beautiful girl. We’ve all been calling her Dee."
People were confused about how to pronounce the name, and equally were not huge fans of the name.
One user commented: "Brody/Brodee is singularly a dog name for me."
"I feel like I can perfectly see the pained grimaces that came with that name announcement in my mind's eye.
"Oh. Well isn't that...original?...", someone wrote.
One Redditor jibed: "I’m really curious what her idea of a name that’s not beautiful or classy is."
The original poster replied: "I’m going to ask her this next time I see her! 'What names did husband suggest that didn’t meet your criteria of classy and beautiful?'"
"Renee is a nice name. I think it's more the spelling and along with the first name is what bothers people", a user suggested.
The original poster again commented insisting she didn't want to offend anyone, writing: "I never want to offend anyone, and was almost upset before I read it. It’s just not my cup of tea!"
"Watch me whip...Watch me Rynae", one brutal user joked, referencing popular Silentó song Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae).
