If I were moving homes, and I had a fresh, black canvas to play with, I'd recreate Cameron Diaz's Beverly Hills living room in a heartbeat. Such is the case with one of my coolest friends who recently bought a new apartment. In her case, her living room is (unsurprisingly) more compact; there's one design element that's easily replicable: Cameron Diaz's statement lighting.
I've been coveting the actress's scalloped rattan light fixture ever since I first laid eyes on her neutral space back in the spring. Now, as the end of the year draws ever closer, I still find myself thinking about her beautiful lighting idea and how the piece ties her room together perfectly.
