BHUBANESWAR: The contract of India's chief coach Graham Reid runs until the Paris 2024 Olympics, but the Australian feels it might be up for review after the team's dismal run at the ongoing Men's Hockey World Cup in Odisha, where the Tokyo Olympics bronze medallist failed to make it even to the quarterfinals.
In a nerve-racking finish to the crossover match against New Zealand, the Indian team lost in a sudden-death shootout to bow out of the title race. The result took the sheen off the tournament as early as the crossovers and the hosts were left to fight for 9th-16th place playoffs.
