Nottingham Forest transfer target Morgan Gibbs-White has spoken for the first time since being linked with a move to the City Ground.
Gibbs-White was first tipped to join Steve Cooper's side after enjoying a successful loan spell with Sheffield United last season. The 22-year-old scored 11 times and provided a further nine assists, only for the Blades to be beaten by Forest in the Championship play-offs.
Forest have been joined by Everton in their interest of the England under-21 international, but further indication of where he will be playing his football next season remains unclear. Gibbs-White is currently in Alicante with Wolves for a pre-season training camp and manager Bruno Lage wants to hand the player a prominent role in his squad this season.

Cooper worked with Gibbs-White during his time in charge of England under-17s and Swansea City, and is a self-confessed fan. The Reds boss has long admired the playmaker and is seeking a replacement for James Garner in midfield for their return to the top flight.
The Molineux academy graduate has now credited his time at Bramall Lane for his helping his development, telling Wolves TV: "I’ve matured as a player massively - on and off the field - knowing when to recover, what foods to eat. It really does make a difference when you’re playing every week. Recovering properly, I really knuckled down on that last season.
"Just getting game time, it really gives you that experience you need, knowing where the spaces are in games, finishing in front of crowds. I feel like that’s definitely improved my finishing. I’m looking to take it into next season.
"It was definitely [my best campaign] because I feel like I’ve matured as a player, developed, got stronger and I know the game so much more now. Definitely my best campaign just because of the goals I scored and the assists. I feel like the momentum is still there since I’ve been back. I can’t wait for the friendly games to come on now."
