KTM's financial woes' reverberations are, unfortunately, still being felt throughout the industry. Since the brand's insolvency and near-death, only to be saved at the 11th hour by Bajaj, the Austrian giant has been struggling to right the ship. Sales are still down, new-old inventory is still on dealership lots, there were real concerns that the company would have to pull out of MotoGP, as it's done elsewhere in the racing world, and it's sold off its supercar brand to a group of investors.
But overall, while it's still on rocky footing, KTM does seem to be going in the right direction. If only marginally still. That, however, cannot be said about MV Agusta, which separated from KTM's overall group right at the height of the Austrian manufacturer's collapse, and less than a year after it had been purchased by KTM, too.
