Emergency crews have rushed to the scene of a fire at a block of flats in Musselburgh after residents were evacuated onto the street.
At least three appliances are battling a blaze at Bellfield Court in the Campie area of the town following a flurry of panicked calls from locals.
Eyewitnesses told how neighbours were quickly ushered out of the building shortly after 8:30pm before fire crews descended on the scene.

Firefighters remain on the street to quell the flames, while the Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland are also there in a supporting role.
One local told Edinburgh Live: “It looked like quite a big one, I hope everyone got out ok.
“I could see a big group of people standing outside, so it looked like everyone got out safe.
“We could see it a little bit in the stairs, but the firefighters were there pretty quickly.”

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said no one had been injured in the incident.
They added: “We received a call at 20:43 on Wednesday, April 20 to a house fire in Bellfield Court.
“Three appliances were dispatched to the scene.
“We remain in attendance at this time.”
