A Conservative MP called out top Tory Mark Spencer to his face over her claim to have lost her job because of her Muslim faith.
Nusrat Ghani, a former Transport minister spoke out in January, claiming she spoke to a whip who informed her that her “Muslimness was raised as an issue” and that her “Muslim woman minister status was making colleagues feel uncomfortable”.
Mr Spencer later outed himself as the minister she spoke to, but said the claims were "completely false" and "defamatory."
