Musician Tom Grennan was attacked and robbed outside a bar in Manhattan, leaving him hospitalised.
As part of his self-titled tour, British singer Tom Grennan wrapped up a performance in NYC on Wednesday night. After his show, he was subject to a brutal attack and robbery that left him hospitalised.
The attack took place outside of a Manhattan bar which left him with jaw and ear problems. His manager, John Dawkins, tweeted a statement about the incident on Thursday.

He said: "In the early hours of this morning after Tom's New York show he was the victim of an unprovoked attack and robbery outside a bar in Manhattan. Tom is currently in hospital being assessed by doctors for his injuries which include a ruptured ear, torn eardrum and issue with his previously fractured jaw.
"Despite this Tom is in good spirits but needs to temporarily recuperate whilst doctors assess his ability to continue with his touring. Tom is desperate not to let anyone down, however we have taken the precautionary decision to postpone the Washington show tomorrow to a later date, with details to follow."
It concluded: "We wish to thank Tom's incredible US fans for their support and understanding." John promised to keep fans updated regarding the remainder of the tour as three dates are still to come.
Fans sent their love to the 26-year-old, wishing him a speedy recovery. BRIT Award winner Sam Fender who said: "F*** sake, hope you're okay dude x"
Singer Becky Hill also commented: "Holy f*** tom i'm so sorry wtf that's awful." Presenter Laura Whitmore also added: "OH God Tom I'm just seeing this! Hope you're ok. Sending love xx."
Tom is expected to kick off the UK leg of his tour next month. The first date is in Cork, May 31.
