A music producer has claimed singer Chris Brown hit him over the head with a bottle in a London nightclub.
The unnamed man alleged he was hit with a bottle before being kicked and punched as he lay on the ground at The Tape club in Mayfair on February 19.
He claims R&B singer Chris, 33, "launched the assault" on him whilst he was allegedly at the club with his entourage during his UK tour.
The music producer alleges he was taken to hospital following the incident and needed crutches to walk once he was discharged.
"He hit me over the head two or three times," the alleged victim said.
"My knee collapsed as well. He's making out it was one of his entourage but it was him.
"I've spoken to the police and they hope to resolve the matter soon. It's now in the hands of my solicitor and I can't comment further," they told The Sun.
According to the newspaper, Chris Brown had voluntarily offered to go to a police station for questioning.
Yet sources say the singer did not meet with officers and is now back in the US.
The Mirror has contacted Chris Brown's representative for comment.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at approximately 04:40hrs on Sunday, 19 February following reports of man assaulted at a venue in Hanover Square, W1.
"The man attended hospital and was discharged following treatment to his injuries.
"Two men were due to attend a police station for a voluntary interview on Wednesday, 29 March, but did not attend.
"Enquiries are ongoing to locate them. There have been no arrests."
In 2009 Chris admitted to assaulting his former partner Rihanna on the night of the Grammys which saw Brown arrested and placed on probation for five years and sentenced to six months community service.
Chris described his assault on Rihanna as the “greatest regret” of his life after the couple tried to start afresh in 2012.
The singer recently embarked on his European tour where he brought his Under The Influence show to UK cities such as London, Glasgow and Dublin in the last few weeks.
It didn't come without its controversies though, as a couple split because he gave a lap dance on a woman in front of her furious boyfriend.
At another show in the European leg of the tour, Chris Brown was filmed throwing a concert-goer's phone into the crowd as he performed the same lap dance routine.
The fan was sat in a chair in the centre of the stage while Chris performed a lap dance for her. However, the singer was far from happy with the fan as she insisted on filming herself to remember the moment.
Chris took measures into his own hands, grabbing the woman's phone and throwing it into the crowd, leaving the fan shocked.
