Murderer won't get more jail time for ex-partner attack

A man who broke into his ex-partner's home and murdered her in front of her two young children will not receive a harsher sentence.

Prosecutors sought more jail time for James William Pualic, 45, arguing his maximum sentence of 24 years and six months behind bars was manifestly inadequate.
