A woman gave two murdering brothers access to facilities to wash - and provided one with a change of clothes one hour after they killed, a court heard. Abby Dixon, 28, of Watson Road, Worksop, was found guilty of two charges of assisting an offender by a jury on May 5.
Her sentencing hearing, where she was jailed for two years, happened at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday (June 13). It followed the sentencing of Matthew Roe, 25, of Franklin Road, Jacksdale, and Luke Roe, 34, of Potter Street, Worksop, who were found guilty of the killing of Henry Thwaites, a convicted paedophile, on July 23, 2022.
The brothers, who were given life sentences, were said to have made 85-year-old Mr Thwaites "drive to his own death" by promising to go for a car viewing. The pair instead led him to a remote location, near Clumber Park, before launching a "vicious and violent" attack, which caused a severe and complete skull fracture.

Luke Roe was told he will serve a minimum of 25 years in prison, while his younger brother Matthew will serve a minimum of 24 years. Dixon, who has ADHD and mental health problems, gave the brothers access to washing facilities after they killed Mr Thwaites, who had been visiting their mum.
Dixon also provided Matthew Roe, who she had been in a sexual relationship with, a change of clothing and facilitated the burning of his clothing at her Watson Road home. She was sentenced on the basis she did not know they had killed the pensioner - but she believed a serious incident had taken place.
She told an officer she had burned her partner's clothes, and was led to a police car and arrested for assisting an offender. She later gave a prepared statement denying any knowledge or involvement in the murder - and had claimed the clothes belonged to an ex-partner and she did not know Mr Thwaites.
She was convicted of the assisting offences at their trial.
