Murderer fails to overturn Vegemite prison ban

A murderer who claimed his human right as an Australian was being breached because he was refused Vegemite in prison has failed to overturn the ban on the polarising spread.

Andre McKechnie sued the Department of Justice and Community Safety and Corrections after he was refused the salty, yeast-based condiment in prison.
