A man was today charged with the murder of a 53-year-old found with head injuries at a Liverpool house.
Leroy Venner died after being taken to hospital on Wednesday, July 27. Police had been called to a property on Belmont Drive, Anfield, at around 3pm.
Today Merseyside Police said Kevin Spaine, 43, of no fixed address, had been charged with the murder of Mr Venner, who was from Toxteth.

Spaine is due to appear before magistrates in Wirral today while a man aged 60 remains on conditional bail after being arrested on suspicion of murder on July 27.
