A man accused of murdering mother Louise Hughes, who was found dead at a house in Adelaide's south-west last year, has again been remanded in custody days after he was granted bail.
On Monday, Lee Paul Streng, 34, was given bail after an Adelaide court heard a post-mortem report had found the cause of the 51-year-old's death in September was inconclusive.
Mr Streng, who was charged with murder and was being held at Port Augusta prison, was set to return to his mother's address in Adelaide under supervised bail with strict conditions.
But he has since been charged with breaching bail.
Ms Hughes died at a house on Condada Avenue at Park Holme in September last year, despite efforts to resuscitate her by emergency services.
On Monday, his lawyer Stacey Carter asked for his charges to be dismissed after an autopsy report showed inconclusive results.
"I am in possession of the current pathologist report, and it would be very hard to substantiate any charge of murder against Mr Streng based on what I've read," Ms Carter said.
Mr Streng will face court in the next fortnight to hear whether his murder charges will be dropped.
He will face court again in June in relation to his charge of breaching bail.
