Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a young man are seeking a cyclist they believe could hold valuable information about the case.
Kasey Anderson, 24, was stabbed repeatedly on Carr Lane East, Croxteth, on Saturday, March 11. He was rushed to hospital with severe injuries, but despite extensive treatment his condition did not improve and he died on March 31.
Before his death Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East, was charged with wounding with intent and remanded in custody. A man and a woman also arrested in connection with the incident remain on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

Today Merseyside Police issued a fresh appeal for information, and in particular asked for a man seen cycling on Carr Lane East at around 6.30pm on the evening of the murder to come forward.
Detective Inspector Ben Wayment said: "We are appealing for a male who was riding his bike on Carr Lane East at around 6.30pm to please come forward as he may have information to help our ongoing investigation.
“If anyone else has any information that you think may assist us, please come forward. Specialist officers are continuing to support Kasey’s family in this difficult time, and we continue to ask for anyone with information to come forward if you are yet to do so.”
After Kasey's death a GoFundMe crowdfunding page was set up to assist his family. In a tribute to Kasey, the page's organiser, Lauren Lewis, said: "He was a genuine, nice lad. Polite, caring, kind, funny and loved by everyone. He had a caring nature and had time for everyone he came into contact with. He will be greatly missed."
