A man has been charged with murder over the death of a 25-year-old man in Victoria's east.
Police were called to Hagenauer Street in Sale, Gippsland, just after 9pm on Friday, after reports two men had been seriously injured.
Paramedics treated a 25-year-old man, however he died after being taken to hospital.
Another man, 26, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition.
Homicide squad detectives arrested a 30-year-old Sale man on Friday.
On Sunday night he was charged with one count of murder.
