Munster's Ben Healy is poised to make his Scotland debut in the Six Nations clash with Italy on Saturday.
Healy is named among the replacements as back-up to Blair Kinghorn at out-half.
It had been rumoured that with Finn Russell and Stuart Hogg both injured in the 22-7 loss to Ireland, Kinghorn would start at full-back and Healy at out-half, but Gregor Townsend has decided to keep Healy in reserve.
The 23-year-old hails from Tipperary but qualifies for Scotland through his grandparents.

And, having made no headway in terms of breaking into Andy Farrell's squad, the former Ireland under-20 international opted in early January to move to Edinburgh in the summer before he was named in the Scots' squad for the Six Nations.
Following the announcement of the Scotland team, Munster tweeted: 'Congratulations to Munster out-half Ben Healy on being named among the Scotland replacements for Saturday's clash against Italy.
'If he features, Ben will make his international and 6 Nations debut'.
Townsend has made four changes from the side that lost to Ireland last weekend for the team's second game at Murrayfield in six days.
Ollie Smith comes in at full-back with Hogg missing after making his 100th Scotland appearance last week.
Sam Skinner is named in the second row and Hamish Watson is at openside, with skipper Jamie Ritchie switching to blindside in the back row.
