MUMBAI: Taking the city's overall tally to 11,61,136, Mumbai reported 234 new coronavirus positive cases on Thursday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
One patient - a 73-year-old male with chronic kidney disease - succumbed to the infection during the day, which raised the death toll to 19,755, it said. This is for the second day in a row that the metropolis reported more than 200 new cases for the second day in a row after witnessing a dip for two days.
