MUMBAI: Tickets for the marathon event in the Paris Olympic Games were not punched by the top Indian runners at the Tata Mumbai Marathon. Even course records were in no danger of falling as Srinu Bugatha won the 42.2 km journey with a timing of 2:17.29.
Gopi Thonakkal, who had participated in the Rio Olympics and bagged the 25th spot, finished 68 seconds behind Srinu (2:18:37). Sher Singh finished one minute behind Gopi in 2:19.37.
