MUMBAI: Not submitting audit rectification reports for consecutive five years and alleged illegitimate handling of sinking fund and other financial affairs of the housing society have cost its ex-management committee members dearly.
In a recent order the Deputy registrar of housing societies, K/west ward Nitin Dahibhate has debarred former chairman Rosario Roque, former secretary Riyaz Saeed and former treasurer Sona Walles of Anjali coop housing society on Vaswani road in saat bangla area of Andheri west from any society election for the next five years.
According to the order the complainant in the case M H Kapadia brought to the notice of the registrar’s office that the management committee (MC) and its office bearers failed to submit the audit rectification reports for financial years between 2015 and 2019 before the society members.
