MUMBAI: The state election commission (SEC) has asked 14 municipal corporations, including the BMC, which are poll-bound to complete the last pre-poll process of ward-wise splitting of electoral rolls by July 7. In an order issued on June 2,the SEC has hinted that the elections to these civic bodies could be held between July and October.
For the first time since the commencement of the election process nine months ago, the state election panel has given a hint about the timing.
