NAGPUR: Vidarbha bowlers once again found their gear early in the match in the final of the Col. CK Nayudu Trophy. The bowlers choked runs and did not let Mumbai score at the desired rate. As both pacers and spinners showed tremendous discipline, Mumbai crawled to 226 for 3 on Day-1 of the title-decider.
Only the last 40 minutes of the day saw some quick runs being scored by Armaan Jaffer. The right-handed Jaffer played some square-cuts to the best effect towards the end that gave them a bit of impetus at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
