The heartbroken family of a mum who was killed by a cocaine-fuelled driver described how "her children were her world."
Laura Hazeldine, 44, died after being bit by a car on Ormskirk Road in Wigan which was being driven by Jacob Gaskell on April 8. The 19-year-old fled the scene on foot, leaving Ms Hazeldine dying on the floor outside a pub called Number 15.
Gaskell had been inhaling laughing gas from a balloon at the wheel of his Land Rover Freelander before the hit-and-run crash and was high on cocaine, reports the Manchester Evening News. The 19-year-old also injured two other pedestrians when he mounted the pavement.
