A mum-of-two has spent weeks transforming her home into a huge winter wonderland ahead of the festive period. Over the last two weeks Christmas lover Carmen Croxall, 34, has turned the front of her rented terraced house into a giant gingerbread house.
The mum, who runs a props business, has made around 70 percent of the decorations from recycled materials such as old milk cartons, cellophane and old drainage pipes. Carmen says the end result of her festive themed Exeter home is "next level" as its complete with biscuit window frames, candy canes and gingerbread men.
Carmen, owner of the Prop Factory, finished the house over the weekend but the wet weather proved to be a big test to how durable her decorations are. Having decorated her property many times in the last 18 months for different occasions, she believes the gingerbread house is her best project yet.
