Mum who offered to be surrogate for son and daughter-in-law 'can't wait' to give birth to granddaughter

A 56-year-old mum who offered to be a surrogate for her son and his wife says she can't wait to give birth to to her granddaughter. Nancy Huack is carrying son Jeff Hauck, 32 and his wife Cambria's baby.

The couple had struggled to conceive before welcoming twins, Vera and Ayva, now three, and another set, Diseal and Luka, 11 months, through IVF. Following the traumatic pregnancy, Cambria had to undergo a hysterectomy, meaning she is no longer able to carry children.

Despite this, the couple still desperately wanted to expand their family - with mum Nancy soon offering to help, the Mirror reports. The parent said she had 'a feeling' she should be the one to carry their child and told Jeff, a computer scientist, that she would be willing to be their surrogate.
