A mum discovered during a routine eye exam that the "zombie-like" state she was experiencing was caused by a brain tumour.
Helen Phillips, 55, from Selby, North Yorkshire was misdiagnosed for four years until a visit to Specsavers finally revealed the growth.
At first, she suffered with sinus issues and headaches, but her condition worsened around 2015.
