Mum who developed OCD and intolerance to beer diagnosed with Parkinson's aged 44

A mum diagnosed with Parkinson's at 44 has shared the surprising symptoms - including loss of smell, OCD and intolerance to sugar and beer.

Donna Marshall said that lesser-known side effects, which started aged just 26, included a loss of taste and an inability to drink caffeine. The disease is more commonly known for creating problems like shaking and stiffness.

But Donna, from Tunbridge Wells in Kent, says her symptoms even led her to spend thousands on an extravagant Halloween display as her OCD spiralled out of control.
