A mum has described walking in on a scene 'from a horror movie' as she found her toddler being attacked by a feral rat.
The harrowing incident happened at a rented house in Walton. The boy was rushed to hospital having been bitten on the face by the rat while he was sleeping in his bed.
The mum, who did not want to be identified or identify her children, said she wanted to raise the shocking incident because she believes there is a major rat problem in parts of Liverpool. She also said she desperately doesn't want such a horrifying incident to happen to any other family.
