A woman called her son a 'divvy' after he stabbed her in the heart, a court heard.
Jamie Dempsey, 32, is on trial at Liverpool Crown Court accused of murdering his mother Karen, after he allegedly knifed her in the chest while fighting with a man over a £2,000 drug debt outside the Brambles pub in Kirkby in Merseyside.
Demspey was called to give evidence at the court today, Thursday February 23, reports the Liverpool Echo.
