A mum has faced criticism from another parent for a certain item she put in her child's packed lunch.
The foodie item in this case were some Pringles crisps, which seemed to bother another mum at the school. She took to the popular Am I Being Unreasonable thread to get some opinions on a WhatsApp message that she'd received from the mum about the Pringles, which she claimed had her feeling 'taken aback'.
Keen to know if she was really in the wrong, the mum wanted some advice on the popular webpage. The thread, titled: "Pringles in the packed lunch" received hundreds of replies from other mums who were keen to share their opinion on the matter.

The post read: "This feels like an odd question but I wanted to ask here in case I am missing something. We have a few tubes of Pringles left over from Christmas and I've been putting a few in a Tupperware for DS's packed lunch. He's 7.
"Last night, I got a WhatsApp from a parent who I don't know very well to ask me if I would stop putting Pringles in DS's packed lunch because it's making her son jealous. I was a bit taken aback and I didn't respond.
"I think I'm entitled to put whatever I want in my DS's lunchbox (within the rules) and that's what I want to tell her. We're new to the school this year though so I don't want to upset anyone and cause dramas. AIBU?"
One Mumsnet user responded: "She's being ridiculous. There must be lots of other packed lunches that would make him jealous too."
A second commented: "I imagine she's on a budget and Pringles are expensive so they don't buy them in her house and her child is jealous because they get own-brand crisps. But messaging you like that is very weird behaviour.
"One of DS's friends takes sushi to school. He's jealous. I just told him that sushi is a treat for us because it's expensive and way out of my budget. Different people have different budgets/priorities. That's life."
Another response read: "OMG, I'd literally be giving him a packed lunch of just pringles for a day if I had that msg."
A third Mumsnet user said: "It’s none of her damn business. It's allowed by the school and even if it wasn’t it’s between you and the school so she should still butt out."
