A mum surprised her daughter when she finally managed to buy a bottle of the sought-after energy drink Prime after spending weeks waking up at 6am. For three weeks Lisa Smith, 42, got up early to visit her local Asda in Huyton, Liverpool.
But every time she went she couldn’t find a bottle of Prime - a new drink from social influencers KSI and Logan Paul - which her nine-year-old daughter Jessie wanted. Kids, particularly teenagers, have been desperate to get hold of the £2 drink with some bottles reportedly being listed on eBay for £10k.
Lisa’s efforts paid off though when one morning she managed to buy a few bottles as they were being restocked at 6.45am. Wearing a blindfold, Jessie then had to guess the object her mum had bought her and she was overwhelmed with joy at seeing the drink.
