A mum has slammed delivery service Evri after they lost a parcel full of post-surgery bras she needed urgently.
Lauren Ashley-Varley, 30, ordered a number of bras from Sainsbury's for her post-breast reduction recovery. She ordered them with nominated day delivery through Evri, after finding out she was going to be having surgery on the NHS shortly before.
But when it came to the day the bras were supposed to be delivered to her home in St Helens, the parcel tracker stopped moving. She then had to rush around and find the money to buy a new surgery bra from M&S, as the specialist bras are essential for for her recovery.

Lauren said: "I had my pre-op three weeks ago and they said I could either have the surgery on August 6 or I could be waiting months. The hospital recommended I buy some sports bras with a zip up the front for my recovery as I would need support.
"I found some on the Sainsbury's website for £5 each and bought a few. I paid extra for nominated day delivery to make sure they came on time and the order just didn't move [on the app].
"I kept checking and checking it but nothing moved. I then had to run around and buy a £20 surgery bra from M&S to make do."
Lauren came through her surgery with no complications, but after chasing Evri for almost a week she still doesn't know where her parcel is. She has now started to worry about getting an infection due to wearing the same post-surgery bra for six days.
She said: "I was only able to buy one because I couldn't afford to get anymore until I got a refund from Sainsburys. But Sainsburys can't give me a refund until they know what has happened to the parcel.
"It's been a nightmare and really distressing. I should be recovering peacefully but now I'm trying to chase them (Evri) and I'm worried about getting an infection because I have had to wear the same supportive bra for almost a week.
"I can't just take it off and put it in the washing machine because I need support 24/7 while I'm recovering. I would usually let something like this slide, but it is relating to my health."
A spokesperson from Evri said: "We successfully deliver over 700 million parcels a year but occasionally things do go wrong. We have been in touch with Lauren Ashley-Varley to apologise for the inconvenience and offered a full refund and a goodwill payment. We wish her all the best for a speedy recovery."
Lauren said she had always fantasised about getting breast reduction surgery. She decided to go and see a doctor after she noticed pains in her breast and became worried, especially after her mum died of breast cancer when she was younger.
After being checked over, nothing suspicious was found, but she did ask a doctor about breast reduction surgery. After a number of consultations Lauren was asked to bring her BMI down from 30 to below 27.
The 30-year-old said: "I started this journey in November and was set the task of losing weight to bring my BMI down. In June I weighed in with a BMI of 25.9 and two stone lighter than I was."
