A mum claims her son is 'coming home hungry' because of the 'terrible' food his school is serving him.
While acknowledging that the lunchtime meals at Royds Hall school, Paddock, Huddersfield, used to be 'amazing', she argued that the quality has not been good enough recently. Despite her claims, the school insists that the food it serves is nutritious and is eaten by both staff and pupils.
Speaking to Yorkshire Live, the mum shared three photographs that she claims her son had taken at lunchtime. In all the pictures, no vegetables can be seen on his plate.
