Travelling with a toddler can be challenging at the best of times. They can get bored easily and restless, and getting them to stay in their seats can be a nightmare.
However, one parent has shared a travel hack that is sure to be a complete game changer for people who are travelling with their children – and it doesn't have to cost too much money.
Content creator Kaleigh Gawn shared what she called the "ultimate toddler travel hack" on her TikTok page @kaleighgawn. In a recent video, the mum-of-one said: "If you're flying with your toddler coming up this one is for you [sic]."

In the video, she continued: "We purchased this blow-up pillow off Amazon. It came with the pump and it fills the space between your seat and the tray table in front of you.
"This allows your toddler to stretch out during nap time or just lounging. It was a game changer."
You can find the pillow for as little as £13.99 on Amazon by searching "inflatable foot rest".
However, before you purchase it, make sure to check with the airline you are using that they actually allow them onboard.
An inflatable foot rest is amazing for comfort, but some airlines don't allow the use of them during the flight due to safety precautions.
British Airways, United and Qantas are among some of the airlines that don't allow it.
According to a company called Flyaway, which sells inflatable items to make long-haul flights easier on kids, inflatable foot rests are accepted on over 50 airlines around the world.
EasyJet, Jet2 and Norwegian all accept them, according to the website's FAQs.
Some airlines you can use them while in-flight but not during take off and landing, so it's worth checking their individual website, or asking onboard.
A former flight attendant gave her own advice, saying: "Try to put it on a window seat. I can see crews not being totally okay with it in the middle seat."
Others were very excited, with one person saying: "Ooohh I need to order one!"
Another added: "The best thing! My kids slept on it and we loved the extra support for their legs and head."
A third added: "We had them for both our kids. The best, especially if they want to sleep. It's like a bed. Works for older children too."
