A mum has told of her shock at selling a battered first-edition Harry Potter book complete with rare error for £20,000.
Holly Hodgart, 34, was amazed when an American buyer splashed out such a hefty amount for the Philosopher's Stone at auction.
She even joked that she was worried the paperback might not even survive the trip to the United States due to its tatty condition.
