A mum has been left horrified after her three-year-old daughter has fallen in love with a seriously creepy Halloween doll, and she insists on taking it everywhere with her. Olivia Crittenden may look innocent but is obsessed with all things horror, and her newest toy of choice has left even her mother concerned about her interest in all things spooky.
Mum Sarah Crittenden, 29, took her youngest child to ASDA and promised to buy her a toy of her choice ahead of Halloween. She was left horrified when they ended up going home with a 'creepy' singing Halloween doll. Olivia 'isn't scared of anything', and she fell in love with the doll and has barely left it alone since it came into her possession.
The doll sings a spooky song, but despite this, Olivia has named it 'Baby' and has declared that she 'loves her' as her mum branded her 'fearless' for liking such scary things.
Shocked mum Sarah, from Rochester, Kent, said: "She walked in the shop and as soon as I told her to go and pick a toy, I heard this creepy nursery rhyme.
"When I turned around, Olivia was holding it and staring at me with this massive grin!
"I made her buy a Barbie instead but she wouldn't stop talking about it when we got home - in the end I went back and bought it.
"She told me 'Mummy, her name is Baby, and I love her.'
"Now Baby sits proudly with her other teddies but it's her favourite and she takes it everywhere."
Her mum also joked that Olivia is the sort of child who would stand in the doorway and watch you sleep at night.
She said: "She's just that creepy child - she likes her Barbies when their arms and legs have popped out. Now I'm thinking she's going to be a psychopath when she's older."
Sarah joked: "We call her the little devil!"
