An angry mum has hit out at her son's school after he was punished for wearing socks with spots following an inspection.
Astrea Academy, in Sheffield, South Yorks, reprimanded Sacha, 11, leading to his mum Lorna Egerton-Fearn to demand that they cut pupils "some slack".
She said Sacha had been wearing the same style of sock, which have red dots, since September as part of his every day uniform at the local school.
