A woman said she feels 'betrayed' after being told she would no longer receive NHS care through her local dentist.
Wendy Winter from Southport received a letter from Roe Lane dental surgery over the weekend stating it would be reducing its NHS commitment and it was no longer available to her. In the letter, Wendy was told she had been placed on a waiting list and the surgery would instead provide alternative private options for treatment.
Wendy a mum-of-three said the news came like a 'bolt out of the blue' as she has been going to the same dentists for the last 62 years and was signed up by her mum before she was born.
