It can be incredibly disappointing when our favourite things break, especially if you've had them for a long time.
One mum has recently shared how she was left 'devastated' when a £50 vibrator she'd had for 14 years finally stopped working.
Amy Pritchard purchased the pink sex toy from an Ann Summers party over a decade ago and at the time it was a top-of-the-range product.
The 35-year-old claims the item proved to be 'fantastic' value for money as it was 'better than any bloke'.
Jokingly referred to as her 'bestie' the sex toy saw her through 'thick and thin in times of need' - including a failed marriage, four house moves and bringing up three children.

So when the vibrator stopped working, the personal assistant decided to share just how much it had meant to her with Ann Summers themselves.
Amy, from Littleborough, Greater Manchester, penned an amusing message to the company on social media after having a giggle with some girlfriends in the pub.
Her cheeky note read: "Well, what can I say...
"Approximately 14 years ago I bought what was then a top of the range 'pink rabbit' I was only 20ish earning very little and the price of this rabbit was sickening, but the lady that was our host was so convincing (the vodka jellies helped) and I purchased it against my better judgement!
"Let me tell you right now... Through thick and thin and times of need, three children four house moves and a failed marriage included my old faithful companion has decided to part ways with me today.
"My bestie completely detached from his throne and will carry in [sic] my journey with me no more!"
She continued: "What a bloody fantastic value for money. I think it was around £50 so when I work that out that's £3.36 per month! Better than any bloke!
"Please advise me of a similar product, and after 14 years I can only hope in excitement of the technology advances!"
An Ann Summers rep responded to Amy by pointing her in the direction of their updated Rampant Rabbit range - but she's yet to invest in a new toy.
Ann Summers have been contacted for comment.
