Tributes have been paid to a mum who was the 'life and soul of the party' following her death.
Lorraine Cullen was found dead with multiple stab wounds at her home Radway Road, Huyton, on Wednesday, May 11. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder a short time later on York Road, just a short drive away.
Now, one of her close friends, Paula McNally, has told the ECHO about what Lorraine was like as a person following her death. The 44-year-old was described at the time as a "one in a million" mum in tributes placed near the house.

Paula, 45, said: "She was my friend and her daughter is friends with my son. We've all known her for quite some time. She was just the life and soul of the party. She was bubbly, so positive and just chatty. She was just never a negative person."
The mum-of-three has now set up a GoFundMe to raise money for the family so they can pay for a wake that will celebrate the life of Lorraine. On the online fundraiser, Paula wrote: "Lorraine was the most bubbly, alive person you could ever meet. She grasped life by the throat and enjoyed every minute with her family and friends.
"Lorraine was big-hearted and would give you her last penny. Lorraine leaves behind three children the youngest of which is only five years old. We are fundraising to give Lorraine the wake of all wakes with a DJ and a celebration of a life well-lived.
"While we are all broken-hearted and believe the world is a darker place without her in it we want to give her the kind of send-off that a person with this much love, kindness and generosity deserves, please find it in your heart to donate to this once in a lifetime girl."
The barista added: "I know the area where she was from and she was so well known in there. Everyone knew her and I think everyone's still in shock as well. I don't think it's sunk in with everyone yet either, especially with the family and I think the last thing they want to do is worrying about finances."
All money raised through the GoFundMe will be given to Lorraine's family as they prepare for the mum's funeral on June 8 at 12pm at St Columba Catholic Church in Huyton for those who wish to pay their respects.
