The mum of a school shooter who gunned down 19 children and two teachers said her son sometimes gave her an 'uneasy feeling'.
Adriana Reyes, the mum of 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, admitted her son could be aggressive when he 'got mad'.
The teen gunman stormed Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, US, with two automatic rifles on May 24.
Minutes before the massacre he had shot his grandmother.
It was the second deadliest school shooting in US history after the 2012 Sandy Hook attack which left 20 children dead.
Reacting to the shooting carried out by her son, Ms Reyes told ABC News: "He (Reyes) can be aggressive … If he really got mad.
"I had an uneasy feeling sometimes, like, ‘What are you up to?'
"We all have a rage, that some people have it more than others.”
Some members of the community in Uvalde have rallied around in support of Ms Reyes following the massacre.
Fatima Abraham, a community leader at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, said: "We are with her because we have to pray instead of criticising or attacking.
“I simply told her that we were with her, that not everyone here was against her.
"She has to know that she is not to blame for this. She didn’t put that gun in her son’s hand.”
Ms Reyes previously told the Daily Mail that her son was 'not a violent person'.
However, she did acknowledge he was an outsider who had few friends and kept to himself.
She added that she was praying for the 'innocent children' killed in the attack, who she said had 'no part in this'.
Ms Reyes recalled the last time she spoke to her son on his birthday on Monday when she planned to give him a card and a Snoopy stuffed toy.
She denied claims that they had a toxic relationship.
Ramos was shot dead after killing 19 children and two teachers as well as blasting his grandmother Celia Gonzalez, who is now fighting for her life.
Ms Reyes said she was unaware where Salvador shot her mum, who was blasted in the face, and said she was going to take care of her when she returned home.
Speaking from the hospital, Ms Reyes told how her mum was able to hold her hand but was unable to smile.
The 66-year-old is now reportedly 'out of surgery', although she will require further operations in the weeks ahead.
Ramos had bragged on social media about buying two AR-15 assault rifles and suggested he would commit an atrocity before the massacre.
He posted pictures of the weapons four days ahead of his gun rampage, including one where he tagged a woman who has since said she had no idea who he was.
In a string of messages, he claimed that he had a "secret" he wanted to share with his last message to her saying "ima air out."
Ramos worked at Wendy's restaurant where he was described as "unfriendly" by coworkers.
A former classmate further claimed that he was bullied at school.
Speaking with the Washington Post, classmate Nadia Reyes said: "He posted videos on his Instagram where the cops were there and he’d call his mom a b***h and say she wanted to kick him out.
