A mum has made her teenage daughter sign a lease and pay rent to keep living at home. The move has attracted some criticism from people online.
The woman shared a video on TikTok of her 18-year-old daughter signing paperwork, with the caption "when your 18-year-old decides to stay at home". It added that the young woman, called Jada, has to pay the equivalent of £83 per month in board.
With the song 'Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)' playing in the background, text on the footage added: "Setting up for success". The post has had more than 1.5million views, but has also attracted plenty of negative reactions, reports the Mirror.
